Lucknow Marine Drive Food Court: Marine Drive is being taken a big step towards creating another major attraction for the citizens. This popular place situated on the banks of the Gomti River will soon be a confluence of taste and facilities. Lucknow is developing a food court by the Development Authority (LDA). It will have a total of 10 shops. The project will develop under the Public-Private Participation (PPP) model. Which will reduce the financial burden on the government and will promote private investment. The construction work of the food court is going on fast. It has been targeted to be completed by 31 July 2025.
Food court will be built on PPP mode
The construction of the food court on the banks of Gomti will increase the beauty of Marine Drive. Tourists will be able to get the option of different types of food. This place is already popular in the city for walking and walking in the evening but so far adequate and systematic facilities of catering were not available. LDA officials said that local entrepreneurs will be given priority in this food court to be constructed on PPP mode. Shops will be allotted to the selected shopkeepers as per the prescribed conditions and quality standards.

It will provide various options like North Indian, South Indian, Chinese, Fast Food, Juice and Sweets. With this, attention is being paid to seating facilities, cleaning, waste management and environmentally friendly design. This food court will give a new direction to the city’s catering industry.
