Mohammed Siraj Salary: The fast bowlers of the Indian cricket team often remain a topic of discussion due to their excellent performance on the cricket field. Siraj has joined the police force in Telangana this year itself, he is currently working on the post of DSP. Siraj had announced the appointment of DSP in the month of July this year itself, while he had joined in the month of October.
Mohammed Siraj will get this much salary from Telangana government if he becomes DSP
Apart from giving a 600-yard plot to Indian cricket team player Mohammed Siraj, the Telangana government had also promised him a government job. Now Siraj has joined the post of DSP. After becoming DSP, the pay grade of Mohammad Siraj ranges from Rs 58,850 to Rs 1,37,50. Along with salary, Mohammad Siraj will also get separate allowance for medical, travel and house rent. To sit for the post of DSP, it is mandatory to have a graduation degree, but Siraj has studied only till 12th class. In this regard, the Telangana government had said that Mohammed Siraj has been given exemption for this.
Mohammed Siraj also gets salary from BCCI. According to BCCI’s Central Contract List in the year 2024, Mohammad Siraj has joined Grade A. According to the contract, Grade A players get an annual salary of Rs 5 crore. Gujarat Titans have bought Mohammed Siraj for Rs 12.25 crore in the IPL 2025 mega auction. Mohammad Siraj also earns a lot from advertisements.
Let us tell you that before Mohammad Siraj, Joginder Sharma was working on the post of DSP. Indian women’s cricket team captain Harmanpreet Kaur has also held the post of DSP in Punjab. Mohammed Siraj is currently on Australian tour, where he is playing the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
