Former 51 -year -old Indian team player Sachin Tendulkar will get this prestigious honor at the annual ceremony of the Indian Cricket Board on Saturday. Through this award, the unprecedented contribution of Sachin Tendulkar in Indian cricket will also be appreciated. Sachin Tendulkar’s name is popular for many big records in cricket history. Sachin Tendulkar has played 664 international matches for India and has made many big records. Sachin Tendulkar also holds the record for the highest Test and ODI runs.
Sachin Tendulkar is also the only cricketer in the world to play 200 Tests and 463 ODIs. In view of this achievements of master blaster, the BCCI has decided to honor him with the ‘Lifetime Achievement’ award for the year 2024.
Earlier, this prestigious award has also been received by former Indian team coach Ravi Shastri and veteran wicketkeeper Farooq Engineer. This honor is received to those players who have brought the Indian cricket team to a new height.
Sachin Tendulkar has been one of the most awards winning players in cricket history. Sachin Tendulkar got Bharat Ratna in the year 2014. Sachin Tendulkar has received the Maharashtra Bhushan Award (2001), Arjuna Award (1994) Order of Australia (2012) Award with Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna (1997–98), Padma Shri (1999) and Padma Vibhushan (2008).
