Shravasti sports news: District Sports Officer Shivkumar Yadav said that a two -day district level sports competitions were successfully concluded at Sports Stadium Shravasti. In these competitions, players enthusiastically participated in sports like athletics in boys and girls category as well as girls basketball, boys kho-kho and football.
Young player shines in athletics:
In the girl’s long jump, Palak finished first, Nisha got second and Aaradhya Tiwari got the third position. Palak also finished first in high jump, while Shailaja was second and Rajnandini third. In Shotput, Pratibha Singh won gold, Anamika Chaudhary won silver and Nisha won bronze medal.
In the long jump of the boys category, Prateek secured first, Abdul Qadir got second and Mohammad Alam got third place. Mohammad Alam finished first in the high jump, Anand Kashyap II and Om Prakash III. In the ball throw, Abhinandan Chaudhary finished first, Om Prakash got second and Manoj Yadav finished third.
Team events thrill:
Girls Basketball: The first semi-final match was played between Ashram Vidyalaya Vidyalaya Bhayapurwa and Shri Alakshendra Inter College, in which ATS Bhayapurwa team won 13-9. The Sports Stadium team won 11–7 by defeating MA career in the second semi-finals. The final match was between ATS Bhayapurwa and Sports Stadium, in which the team of ATS Bhayapurwa won the title.
Kho-Kho (Balak): In the first semi-final, the Sports Stadium defeated Janta Inter College, while in the second semi-final, Shri Alakshendra Inter College defeated UPS Patna. The final match took place between Sports Stadium and Shri Alakshendra Inter College, in which the Sports Stadium team was the winner.
Football (boy): The first semi -final was between Sports Stadium ‘A’ and Star Club, with the Sports Stadium ‘A’ team victorious. The second semi -final was played between Rehli Club and Sports Stadium ‘B’, in which Rehli Club won. In the thrilling final, the sports stadium ‘A’ won the title by defeating Rehli Club 5–0.
Honor ceremony and gratitude:
All the winners and runners -up players were awarded the award by the chief guest representative of the program, Shravasti MLA Awadhesh Pandey. He also wished all the participating players for their bright future. At the conclusion of the competition, District Sports Officer Shivkumar Yadav expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the chief guest representative and all the guests present.
