Siddarth Kaul retires from international cricket
Siddarth Kaul, one of the best players of the Indian cricket team, has not got much chance to play for the Indian cricket team. Siddharth Kaul remained unsold in this mega auction. After 3 days, Siddharth Kaul has announced his retirement. Siddharth has given this information by writing an emotional post on social media.
Siddharth Kaul wrote in his post, ‘When I used to play cricket in the fields of Punjab, I had a dream. My dream of representing my country. In the year 2018, by the grace of God, I got this opportunity in T20. I got my India cap number 75 in Team India and cap number 221 in ODI team. Now the time has come for me to put an end to my career in India and announce my retirement. I can’t express my gratitude in words for the love and support I have received throughout all the ups and downs of my career.
Siddharth further said, ‘I want to thank God very much for the path made for me. To the fans for being so supportive and to my parents and family for the sacrifices and confidence they gave me, especially during the injuries and ups and downs. Thanks also to my teammates over the years for the dressing room memories and friendship. Thank you to BCCI for fulfilling a small child’s dream of representing India and winning the Under-19 World Cup in 2008 and playing in my T20Is and ODIs in 2018. Thanks also to KKR, DD, RCB and SRH, IPL franchises for giving me lifetime memories.
Thanking everyone, Siddarth Kaul wrote, ‘Finally, thanks to @pcacricketassociation for giving me the opportunity to make my first class debut in the year 2007 and supporting me throughout my career. Without all of your support I would not be the person I have become today. I don’t know what will happen in the future but I just look back at this chapter with happy memories and now I am moving towards the next chapter.
