Lucknow News: The second season of ‘Fun Ka Sports Champion’ held at Fun Republic Mall in the city ended Sunday. Sports and entertainment events continued for two weeks. In this, children and youth got a platform and gave the city dwellers an opportunity to entertain. All the winners were honored at the closing ceremony by giving trophy and prizes.
Sports festival lasted for 15 days
The event started on June 8, which was inaugurated by Priyanka Shaily Mishra. Tell me, Priyanka Mishra is a former international female cricketer, being the chairman of the Senior Women’s Selection Committee of Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association (UPCA), Lucknow Women Wing is the head. Various types of competitions and activities were organized daily at the 15 -day Sports Festival held at Fun Republic Mall.
Special on International Yoga Day
The event included popular sports like cricket, basketball, gymnastics, weightlifting, chess, picch ball, badminton and table tennis. Apart from this, fun activities, games, quiz, workshops and entertainment programs for children and youth. In particular, on the occasion of International Yoga Day on 21 June, the mall became completely ‘Yogamay’. On this day, yoga related workshops, live demostion and participants participated with positive energy.

At the closing ceremony, the general manager of the mall, Ashwani Singh, said, Fun’s sports champion Season-2 was a platform for the youth and children of Lucknow, where Pratibha was openly displayed.
