WPL 2025 Auction: A total of 120 names are to be finalized to fill all the 19 slots in the mini auction of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) starting at 3 pm today here in Bengaluru on Sunday. Of the 29 overseas players, England captain Heather Knight, West Indies all-rounder Deandra Dottin and South Africa’s Lizelle Lee have chosen the highest reserve price of ₹50 lakh. That means the bidding for these will start from above Rs 50 lakh.
Other notable names include England’s Lauren Bell and Maia Bouchier, Australia’s Darcy Brown and Lauren Cheatle, and South Africa’s Nadine de Klerk, all of whom are in the Rs 30 lakh range. Bidding for these will start from above.
If we talk about Indian names, then the list of 91 Indian players includes Sneh Rana (Rs 30 lakh), Poonam Yadav (30), Shubha Satish (30), Mansi Joshi (30) and Tejal Hasbnis (30). There is a good possibility of getting a good bid for these.
16 year old G, who has performed well in domestic cricket. Kamalini, Raghavi Bist, Jagarvi Pawar and Nandini Kashyap can attract attention. Delhi’s 13-year-old left-arm fast bowler Anshu Nagar, who created a stir in the Women’s Delhi Premier League three months ago, is also included in this list.

It will be interesting to see how the giants rebuild their bowling pack after releasing Sneh Rana, Lee Tahuhu, Katherine Bryce and Cheatle. Mumbai Some reinforcement in the middle order in the name of Harmanpreet Kaur may be considered.
Defending champions Royal Challengers Bangalore are the only team with no overseas vacancy, and the Capitals look more or less settled, while UP Warriors will be expected to make a quality change.
