Women t20 world cup 2026: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the schedule of Women’s T20 World Cup 2026. The much awaited tournament will be held in England from 12 June to 5 July in 2026. The tournament will begin with England vs Sri Lanka match. Whereas all eyes will remain on the high -voltage match between India and Pakistan on 14 June.
33 matches in T20 World Cup 2026
For the first time 12 teams will participate in the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026. A total of 33 matches will be played in it. During this time matches will be held on seven major grounds in England, including Edgbaston, Old Trafford, Handingley, Oval, Lords, Hampshire Bol and Bristol County Ground. The inaugural match will be played between hosts England and Sri Lanka in Edgbaston on 12 June.
India-Pakistan match in Edgbuston
The biggest match of this tournament will be held on 14 June in India vs. Pakistan. Which will start at 2:30 pm. England captain Nat Skver-Bunt has described the tournament as a game-changing. While the first semi -final match will be played on 30 June and the second semi -final match will be played on 2 July. The final match will then be held on July 5 at the historic ground in Lord’s.
Top two teams will reach semi -finals
At the same time, tournament director Bath Barrett-Waled said that the participation of 12 teams and comprehensive match arrangements will make the tournament historic. Group A has India, Pakistan, Australia, South Africa and two qualifier teams. While Group B consists of England, New Zealand, West Indies, Sri Lanka and two other qualifier teams. The top two teams from each group will make it to the semi -finals.
