Indian U-19 team: The Board of Control for Cricket in India recently selected the Indian Under-19 cricket team. India’s Under-19 team is going to play a home series with Australia Under-19 team after a few days. A 3-match ODI series as well as a 2-match Test series will be played between the junior teams of India and Australia. For which the board has announced the squads with 2 different captains. This series is going to start from 21 September.
13 year old kid from Bihar gets chance in Indian Under-19 team
In this series against Australia, many young emerging junior players have got a chance in the Indian Under-19 team, including former legendary player Rahul Dravid’s son Samit Dravid, as well as a 13-year-old boy from Bihar. Bihar’s child, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, has been selected in the Indian Under-19 Test team. He is now ready to prove his talent at the Under-19 level.
Record of youngest debut in Ranji
This kid from Bihar got a chance to play in the biggest tournament of domestic cricket, Ranji Trophy, earlier this year. He has started his Ranji career for Bihar, and became the youngest player to play Ranji Trophy for India at the age of just 12. Vaibhav Suryavanshi has played 2 matches in Ranji Trophy so far, in which he has scored 31 runs at an average of 7.50. But he has created a stir in some tournaments in domestic cricket.
Vaibhav had a great performance in Vinoo Mankad Under-19
Vaibhav Suryavanshi is a resident of Samastipur, Bihar, he was born on 27 March 2011. Apart from being a left-handed batsman, he also bowls orthodox with his left hand. Vaibhav showed tremendous cricket talent at a very young age. He made his debut for India’s Under-19 B team last year and scored 177 runs in 5 matches while playing against teams like England and Bangladesh. Vaibhav scored 360 runs at an average of 99.70 while playing for Bihar in the Under-19 Vinoo Mankad Trophy. His performance was important in getting him a place in Team India’s Under-19.
