This 37-year-old player of the Ireland cricket team got a strange fever while staying in Ireland and he was taken to the doctor there, but when the doctors could not diagnose the disease, Simi Singh was brought to India and admitted to Medanta Hospital in Gurgaon. Simi Singh has been a great all-rounder player of Ireland.

Simi Singh’s father-in-law gave information about her illness

Simranjit Singh’s father-in-law told Times of India that when Simi was in Dublin 5-6 months ago, she had a strange kind of fever. This fever kept coming and going. When she got herself examined in Ireland, no significant result was found regarding the disease. Due to which the doctors there did not even start her medication. After which, due to delay in treatment, Simi’s condition kept deteriorating. After which we decided to come to India to get her better treatment.

Such has been Simi Singh’s international career

Talking about the career of Simarjit Singh i.e. Simi Singh, he made his debut for the Ireland cricket team in the year 2017. After which he continued to play for this team till about 2022. During this, he played 35 ODIs in his international career. In which he took 39 wickets, while he scored 593 runs in batting at an average of 22. During this, a century is also included. Simi Singh played 53 matches in T20 International career and took 44 wickets. He also scored 296 runs with the highest score of 57 in batting.

In 2005 Simarjit Singh left India and went to Punjab

Simi Singh is of Indian origin, he is a resident of Mohali, Punjab. Simranjit Singh started playing cricket for Punjab and he played Under-14 and Under-17 cricket for Punjab, but he did not get a chance in the Under-19 team of Punjab and in 2005 he left cricket and went to Ireland to do hotel management. Here he continued playing cricket and in 2006 joined Malahide Cricket Club of Ireland.
