Tennis championship: The Tamil Nadu team has won the title of Second Sub Junior and First Senior National Ring Tennis Championship. In the competition held at KD Singh Babu Stadium in Lucknow, Tamil Nadu has become runner-up by defeating hosts Uttar Pradesh 4-3 in the Sub Junior Team Championship. While Tamil Nadu defeated Telangana 4–0 in the final of the senior team championship.
Uttar Pradesh gets defeat in final
Uttar Pradesh has suffered defeat in the final match of the championship held under the aegis of Ring Tennis Federation of India. Apart from the team event, Uttar Pradesh performed brilliantly in personal events and won a total of 10 medals. Which includes 2 silver and 8 bronze medals. The closing ceremony of the championship was honored by the Chief Guest Dr. Anandeshwar Pandey (Executive Director Handball Association of India and General Secretary Uttar Pradesh Olympic Association).

At the closing ceremony of the championship, Chief Guest Dr. Anandeshwar Pandey (Executive Director Handball Association of India and General Secretary, Uttar Pradesh Olympic Association) and Distinguished Guest Dr. Tejraj Singh (General Secretary, Handball Association of India) honored the players. During this, General Secretary of Ring Tennis Federation of India, KRV Shyam Sundar Executive Director Amit Pandey, CEO Mohammad Tauheed and many other sports officials were present.
