Varanasi News: The 28th Inter duration Hockey Competition-2025 was organized in Varanasi district of Uttar Pradesh. The program was grandly inaugurated by Secretary and Chief Guest PAC General Anil Kumar Pandey (IPS).
Let us tell you that on arrival at Astro Tuff Hockey Ground, BHU, the assistant general was welcomed with a wreath. After that, all the team manager was introduced to join hands. The chief guest was greeted by all the teams involved in the competition. After that, the commander was addressed.
In his address, Army Nayak greeted all teams. A special statement in relation to hockey was given and directed to conclude the competition by being disciplined. Thereafter, it was announced to inaugurate the competition.
The inaugural match of the competition was played between the 20th Corps PAC, Azamgarh and the 48th Corps PAC, Sonbhadra. The commanders were introduced by the players of both the teams and got the introductions and best wishes. The opening match was quite interesting. No goals were scored by both teams in a thorn collision.
The match was decided through penalty shootout. In the penalty shootout, the 48th duct team won the match 4–1. The second match was played between 4th Corps PAC, Prayagraj and 33rd Corps, Jhansi. The match was decided through penalty shootout. In the penalty shootout, the 04th Corps PAC, Prayagraj’s team won the match 3–1.
Total 10 teams
A total of 10 teams from Eastern Zone (04th BN, 33BN, 37BN, 12BN, 34BN, 42BN, 39BN, 48BN, 20BN, 36BN) are participating in this competition. The conclusion of this competition is proposed on 26.05.2025. The players were encouraged by thousands of audiences present during the match. On this occasion
