Varanasi News: The 68th All India Railway Golf Championship was inaugurated in the green golf course of Banaras Rail Engine Factory (Bareka). Under the aegis of Railway Sports Promotion Board and this prestigious competition organized by Bareka Sports Association was inaugurated by General Manager Naresh Pal Singh by blowing balloons.
Indian Railways best gathered in Bareka
A total of 66 players from 21 zones and production units of Indian Railways are participating in this prestigious championship, showing their best sportsmanship. Bareka Golf Course, which is famous for its state -of -the -art facilities and picturesque environment, is proving to be an ideal place for the event.
Chief guest Shanresh Pal Singh made a thrilling start of the competition by playing golf shot. In his inaugural speech, he appreciated the contribution to the sports promotion of Indian Railways and the enthusiasm of the employees’ sports. He said, “Competitions like golf not only promote physical and mental fitness, but also strengthens discipline, solidarity and sportsmanship in railway employees.

In Bareka Golf course, the players performed brilliantly and gave a tough fight to each other. His magnificent golf techniques and strategies mesmerized the audience. Before the commencement of the competition, a special practice session was organized for the players on 24 March, in which he understood the characteristics of the course and gave his technology further edged.
