Suresh Raina has praised Virat Kohli in an interview. He also appealed to the central government to give Bharat Ratna to Virat Kohli. He said, “Virat Kohli should be honored with Bharat Ratna for whatever achievements made for India and Indian cricket, for the achievements made. The Government of India should give him the Bharat Ratna Award.”
Apart from this, Suresh Raina has also appealed to BCCI to hold a special farewell match for Virat Kohli in Delhi. Regarding this, Raina said that whatever Kohli did for the country is incomparable, so he should get a retirement match. He further said that in this retirement match, his family and coach should also be witness to his last innings, he deserves it.

If the central government accepts this demand of Suresh Raina, then Virat Kohli will become the second cricketer who will be honored with the Bharat Ratna. So far, only one cricketer has received this highest civilian honor in the history of India, whose name is Sachin Tendulkar. He was awarded the Bharat Ratna in 2014.
