Stampede Death: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), who won the IPL 2025 title on Tuesday, turned into a tragic accident on Wednesday. During the trophy celebration at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, there was a stampede due to huge crowd and chaos, in which 11 people lost their lives. This incident has turned the atmosphere of celebration into sorrow.
The team won its first IPL Trophy by defeating Punjab Kings by 6 runs after a long wait of 18 years. After the victory, fans of RCB and Virat Kohli across the country including Bengaluru celebrated fiercely. On Wednesday, the team planned to perform the trophy at a public function at M Chinnaswamy Stadium. But thousands of fan reached the stadium after the news of no ticket arrangements for the program and the news of Virat Kohli’s presence.
