WCL 2025: The match between India and Pakistan has been canceled in the World Championship of Legends 2025. Pakistan coach and team owner Kamil Khan said, “According to us, we are entitled to the 2 points that are associated with the canceled match. According to the rules we will be given those marks.” He also said that he wants to select 4 teams for the semi -finals, but this time an attempt will be made to avoid the match between India and Pakistan.
Shaheed Afridi’s displeasure
Earlier, former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi also expressed his displeasure over the cancellation of this match. He had said that this match was a great opportunity for cricket lovers, but now this dream broke due to opposition from Indian players. The first match of the World Championship of Legends 2025 was to be held between India and Pakistan on 20 July. The organizers hoped that the legendary players of the two countries would land on the field, but the match had to be canceled due to protest by Indian players. Shikhar Dhawan had already publicly decided that he would not play a match against Pakistan.
