When it comes to retro bikes, a lightweight entry-level motorcycle from Yamaha called the Libero, was introduced in India by Yamaha in the early twenty-first century. However, the Libero faced competition from other models sold by Hero Honda and Bajaj. In front of whom it faded and the bike was discontinued in 2010. But we can still see this bike in the garage of any bike enthusiast.
Hyderabad-based Aftermarket Workshop has transformed an old Libero unit into a beautiful custom-made cafe racer. Images of a completely modified custom cafe racer bike based on the Yamaha Libero have been shared on Eimor Customs’ Facebook page. The owner of this particular motorcycle is closely related to it, as it was his first bike. Hence, the people of Eimor not only revived the motorcycle but also replaced it into a beautiful cafe racer as per the owner’s choice.
Look that enhances retro appeal
Since this bike is based on the Libero, it looks like the RX100 after modification. A lot of updates have been done to its body. Along with the change in the design of the bike, a new headlight with a pair of turn indicators and new grille gets. Both the front and rear fenders of the bike have been shortened,
Other highlights of the bike are a custom-made single-piece seat with a ribbed pattern and a signature pillion cowl. The handlebar gets circular bar-end rearview mirrors which add to the retro appeal of the bike. In keeping with the retro theme, an aftermarket twin-pod analog instrument console has also been added.

The company has not tampered with the engine of the bike. It is powered by a 106 cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke engine mated to a 4-speed gearbox. This powertrain was used to generate a nominal output of 7.7 bhp and peak torque of 7.8 Nm.
