Amit shah gujarat emergency dail 112: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday launched the ‘Dial 112 Emergency Response Support System (ERSS)’ of the Gujarat government. He said that this is an important step towards smart policing of new generation. Now for any kind of security or emergency service, only 112 numbers have to be dial.
Amit Shah said that the State Emergency Response Center in Ahmedabad will be operated 24 hours. Here the call center with 150 seats will always be active and information will be sent to the nearest police, ambulance or fire brigade immediately from the GPS system.
Relief will be available from different numbers
Till now people had to remember several numbers like police (100), ambulance (108), fire (101), women’s helpline (181), child helpline (1058) and disaster service (1070, 1077). But now only Dial 112 will be enough in place of all these, which has also started.
Not only this, Amit Shah also launched DIAL 112 mass protector vans, which will have public address system, location tracker and modern facilities. These vehicles will always be available in public service.
Modi government’s security resolution
Amit Shah said that in the last 11 years under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has given a message to the world that the country will go to all limits for the safety of its citizens. Shah further said that Gujarat, which was once infamous for riots and curfew, has become the best model of law and order in the whole country today. Amit Shah further targeted the Congress and said that earlier during the Congress governments, the border of Gujarat was insecure. But Narendra Modi, as the Chief Minister, made the border of Gujarat an impregnable fort for the enemies. Shah said that the Modi government has adopted a zero tolerance policy against terrorism. Along with this, Shah also talked about completely eliminating Naxalism by 2026.
