The most special of these projects is the Anta-Syaria bridge over the Ganges river, which will reduce the distance between North and South Bihar more than 100 kilometers. This bridge will not only smooth traffic, but will also connect the districts of North Bihar like Begusarai, Supaul, Madhubani, Purnia directly to the districts of South Bihar like Sheikhpura, Nawada, Lakhisarai. The Prime Minister will inaugurate the Buxar Thermal Power Plant at a cost of Rs 6,880 crore to strengthen the power sector in Bihar. This power plant will not only strengthen the energy security of the state, but will also meet the demand for increasing electricity. Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Center will be inaugurated in Muzaffarpur to promote health facilities. He will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of several development projects worth more than Rs 5,200 crore in Kolkata. The most important of this is the inauguration of three new sections of Kolkata Metro. Metro services from Jesor Road to Jai Hind Biman Bandar, Sealdah to Esplaynade, and Belleghata to Hemant Mukhopadhyay will start.
These new metro roots will add the busiest areas of Kolkata, which will reduce the travel time of millions of passengers. For example, the 40 -minute journey between Sealdah and Espless will now be completed in just 11 minutes.
