Chandauli News: An important meeting of the Road Safety Committee was held under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Chandra Mohan Garg. In this meeting, there was a detailed discussion on preventing road accidents, following traffic rules and future plans.
Strict action will be taken against those who break traffic rules
The District Magistrate has given clear instructions to the officials that whatever person will break the traffic rules, strict action should be taken on it. He said that helmets and seat belts are necessary and it should be ensured. At the same time, he also insisted on launching awareness campaign for road safety, so that people themselves were motivated to follow the rules.
Dangerous places will be fine
The meeting also said to identify places where most of the road accidents occur. These places are called black spots. These black spots have been instructed to install speed breakers, sign boards (signal signs) and street lights (road lights), so that these places can be made safe.
It is necessary to work together for safety
The District Magistrate also said that it is the responsibility of every citizen to cooperate in safe traffic not only. He said that the administration, police, transport department and general public will have to work together to prevent road accidents.
Officers of several departments including Additional Superintendent of Police, RTO and PWD were present in the meeting.
