WhatsApp is introducing several new features to improve the messaging experience on its platform. The Meta-owned company has now introduced a new group chat feature. WhatsApp users will soon be able to share large size files with their friends and family on the app. The company announced that it will soon be rolling out an update that will allow users to share files as large as 2GB on the messaging app.

WhatsApp has now announced that a new update will increase the file sharing limit on the app to 2GB for group chat users. The announcement comes within a month after WhatsApp confirmed it was working on the feature.
Earlier, the company had announced that the 2GB file sharing feature is in the works. However, the company did not confirm the update rollout timeline at that time. Today, WhatsApp confirmed the rollout via Twitter. The update will soon allow users to send files up to 2GB on WhatsApp. However, no exact date has been announced yet. Reactions feature rollout begins
