Huawei recently launched the Mate Xs 2 foldable smartphone in the Chinese market and now at its global event, the brand has introduced its Mate Xs 2 foldable phone in the global market. The Mate Xs 2 sports a 7.8-inch foldable 120Hz OLED panel, and in the unfolded state it measures 6.5-inches at 120Hz and 240Hz respectively. When unfolded, the thinnest part of the smartphone is only 5.4mm thick and weighs just 255 grams.
The body of the smartphone is made of aviation-grade titanium alloy, ultra-light fiberglass and ultra-light and super-strong steel. Moreover, the device has a microfiber at the back which gives the device a premium feel when unfolded.

The Huawei Mate Xs 2 foldable smartphone with 8GB RAM + 512GB storage is priced at €1,999 (Rs 1,62,602) in the European market. It comes in Black, White and Violet color options and will be available for purchase in June.

The smartphone flaunts a 6.5-inch folded screen that expands to 7.8-inches when unfolded. It has an OLED panel with 2480 x 2200 pixels resolution when it is magnified (2480 × 1176 pixels when folded). The display panel comes with 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 1440Hz PWM dimming and 424ppi pixel density.
The foldable smartphone packs a Snapdragon 888 4G SoC with Adreno 660 GPU and comes in a single storage configuration of 8GB + 512GB, and the memory can be expanded further up to 256GB. The Mate XS 2 smartphone packs a 50-megapixel primary sensor, 13-megapixel ultrawide, and 8-megapixel 3x telephoto with optical image stabilization. There is also a 10-megapixel front-facing camera. The device packs a 4600mAh battery with 66W fast charging support which Huawei claims can charge the battery up to 90% in just 30 minutes.
