Here you need to know about the 5G rollout of BSNL.

BSNL will launch 5G after 4G stabilization

BSNL will switch to 5G only when its 4G network is fully ready. Scindia said, “It is not difficult to go from 4G to 5G, but we need a stable 4G first.” Currently, 76,000 out of 90,000 4G towers are active. The target is to set up 100,000 towers by July 2025. The 5G rollout will start with 100,000 customers. This will focus on 5G standalone services and fixed wireless access (FWA). BSNL has tested its 5G technology in places like Nehru Place, Chanakyapuri and Minto Road in Delhi. These tests conducted with the Center for Development of Telematics (C-DOT) used equipment manufactured in India.

Only Indian technology will be used

BSNL will launch 5G completely using indigenous technology. Scindia insisted, “We have our core and Ran. No foreign technology will be used.” Companies like Tejas Network, Accounting Wireless and Galore Network are helping 5G rollouts in Delhi. They will install 1,876 sites in the capital. BSNL’s 5G will use 900 MHz and 3.3 GHz bands. This step supports India’s goal of becoming a global leader in telecom technology. Scindia said that India’s 4G and 5G technology is ready for export. BSNL’s 5G launch will be a big step for India’s telecom sector. To compete with private operators such as Airtel, who are already offering 5G.
