Previously, there were different apps for different railway services booking tickets, checking PNR status, ordering food and much more, but now IRCTC Swarail would be an app to do all this. How to book reserved train tickets on Swaill
1: In the Swaral app, tap on the reserved option under the Journey Planner.
2: Choose form and station.
3: Select the departure date.
4: Now you can choose the category, (normal, immediate, women, etc.) and other concession options.
5: Tap on the search button below.
6: Choose your favorite train from the list option. Also, if you have not already chosen train class in the previous section, then choose train class here.
7: Tap on yes button to move forward.
8: Add the details of passengers (including name, age, gender, birth preference) and other options asked.
9: Confirm the details, enter the captcha and tap on the book now.
10: Pay in your favorite way.
Steps to book a reserved train tickets on Swaill
1: Tap on a reserve option on Swaral homescreen.
2: Choose normal or season depending on your requirement.
3: Tap outside the station premises or at the station (by scanning the QR code near the booking counter).
4: Enter the destination and source stations.
5: Tap on proceed to book.
6: Choose the root from the given options.
7: Select type of train, type of ticket, number of passengers and category.
8: If you have no problem with the fare shown below, tap on the book option now.
9: Choose payment mode and pay.
