Jaunpur News: In order to maintain law and peace in the district, the police arrested 18 people while taking action in different police stations on Thursday. Police said that a case has been filed against all under Section 170 of BNS and sent to court.

Police station Saraikhwaja police arrested 4 people. These include Durgesh Yadav (19), Lalji Yadav (37), Ravindra Nath Gautam (43) and Surendra Gautam (30). All these were detained in the case of breach of peace.
Police station shahganj
Police station Shahganj arrested 7 people. These include Usha Gupta, K Ramesh Chaurasia, Anup Kumar, Uttam Kumar, Jai Gupta, Vishnu Pandey and Sherbahadur Yadav. Police say that these people were creating a situation of dispute, causing the atmosphere to deteriorate.

Police said that regular patrolling and strict action are being taken to maintain peace in the district. Any person who tries to spread a quarrel, dispute or disturbance, will be taken immediately against them.
