Chandauli News: There is a great news for railway passengers of Bihar and Jharkhand. Keeping in mind the convenience of Indian Railways, passengers, a new Memu fast passenger train service between Vaishali and Koderma is starting. This train will pass through important stations like Hajipur, Pataliputra, Patna, Bakhtiyarpur, Rajgir, Tilaiya and Gaya, which will give direct contact to the people of these areas. This service will make the journey between these two states even smooth and faster.
Date of opening and regular operations
This new train will be inaugurated at a special ceremony on 22 August 2025. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off this service. On the inauguration day, this train will depart from Gaya Junction to 03624 Gaya-Vaishali Memu Fast Passenger will depart at 10:50 am and reach Vaishali at 7:30 pm. This train will stop at stations like Tilaiya, Rajgir, Nalanda, Bihar Sharif, Bakhtiyarpur, Fatuha, Rajendranagar, Patna, Pataliputra, Sonpur and Hajipur. Along with this, another special train, 03626 Gaya-Koderma inaugurated Special, will run from Gaya at 11:00 am and reach Koderma at 1:00 pm.
Subsequently, regular operation of this train will start from 23 August 2025. 63383/63384 Vaishali-Koderma-Vaishali Memu Fast Passenger will serve six days a day, except on Monday.
Regular timetable
Under regular service, train number 63383 Vaishali-Koderma Memu Fast Passenger will leave from Vaishali at 05:15 am. The train will reach Koderma at 03:15 pm, passing through major stations like Hajipur, Sonpur, Pataliputra, Patna, Rajendranagar, Fatuha, Bakhtiyarpur, Bihar Sharif, Nalanda, Rajgir, Tilaiya, Gaya and Gurpa.
In the return journey, train number 63384 Koderma-Vaishali Memu Fast Passenger will start its journey from Koderma at 04:45 pm. It will reach Vaishali at 02:45 pm the next day via Gurpa, Gaya, Tilaiya, Rajgir, Nalanda, Bihar Sharif, Bakhtiyarpur, Fatuha, Rajendranagar, Patna, Pataliputra, Sonpur and Hajipur.
