Some people do not take treatment on time, due to which their lives are lost. Now the government has started a new scheme for this. A new budget has been presented for this, in this scheme, the injured of the road accident will get free cashless treatment in the hospital. Please tell that more than 1.5 lakh people die in a road accident, but now people can save their lives due to timely treatment.
Cashless treatment up to Rs 1.5 lakh
According to the information revealed, under this scheme, the government will provide free treatment of up to Rs 1.5 lakh to the injured who are accident on the road. For example, if two people are injured in any incident, then they will be provided a separate free treatment of Rs 1.5-1.5 lakh. This scheme has come into force from 5 May. This is a good decision for the general public, this can save many people. Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari himself has announced this in Parliament. Even before this, his ministry introduced many schemes to save road safety and people’s lives, but no one was successful. Now in such a situation, this new scheme of the government will save the lives of people. The government’s notification states, “Any person who has been injured due to motor vehicle in a road accident will get the benefit of this scheme. The injured will get cashless treatment up to Rs 1.5 lakh in Designated Hospital. You can get treatment for free from accident day to 7 days”

The scheme has been implemented by the National Health Authority (NHA), NHA is starting this work with the health agencies of the police, hospital and state governments. The scheme will be known as ‘Cashless Treatment of Road Accident Victims Scheme-2025’. Let us know that after the accident, the injured are taken to any other hospital other than Designeted Hospital, in which they will get cashless treatment. The State Road Safety Council is working on implementing this scheme in collaboration with NHA in the states. The agency will do all the work related to the injured, to contact the concerned hospitals, to pick them up and pay the payment. For this, the government will also form a steering committee, which will monitor everyone’s work.
