President Donald Trump has given strict warning to Apple, Samsung and other smartphone makers, threatening that if they are not produced back in the United States, they will put “at least 25 percent” tariffs on iPhone and similar products. The President reiterated its frequent demand for manufacturing its major products in the US from Apple, warning that business action would be taken if the company continues to production abroad.
America expressed anger
Trump, while increasing the scope of his action on tariff, emphasized that only Apple would not be aimed at this. He revealed that users like Apple as well as Samsung will also face the proposed tariff, which would begin by the end of June. “This would also apply to Samsung and any person making that product – otherwise it would not be appropriate,” Trump said, indicating his intention to apply tariffs to all for fairness. Apparently, Apple is not the only company that is under pressure. Trump said, “When they put their factories here, there will be no tariff. So they are going to start building a plant here,”
