Ration card e-kyc online: Ration card holders have not linked their ration card with their Aadhaar card. The Delhi government has made it mandatory for these users to complete the Aadhaar certification by 31 March, 2025. This linkage will determine eligibility for Ujjwala scheme and Ayushman Bharat Scheme. And to take advantage of these schemes, users have to complete the e-KYC process, which can be done through EKYC mobile app or fair price/ration shops at home through e-POS devices. Online ration card e-KYC steps via mobile
1: Download Mera EKYC app from Google Play Store. This app is not yet available on the Apple App Store. You have to install the Aadhaarfacerd app.
2: Open the Mera EKYC app and give the app location and camera access.
3: Choose your territory/state ruled territory.
4: Enter your Aadhaar number and tap on the generated OTP button.
5: Enter OTP on your registered mobile number and captcha given on screen.
6: You will see your detail -like name, district and Aadhaar EKYC status and acceptance.
7: Tap on face ekyc. Accept to share your ration card details with UIDAI, tap on the button.
8: Tick on the box and tap on the button moving forward.
9: The scanner/camera will open, and you will see a circle on the screen. You have to make sure that your face remains inside the circle on the screen.
Check Ration Card E-KYC status on mobile
1: Open the e-KYC app again and enter your location, Aadhaar number, OTP and captcha, as you did in the above section.
2: Once you do all this, all the benefits will see ya in front of the e-KYC position.
Ration Card E-KYC offline steps
1: Go to your registration ration shop.
2: Ask the dealer/shop owner to start the e-KYC process using the e-POS system.
3: Provide your biometric details, such as fingerprint and iris scan.
4: After being verified, your e-KYC process will be completed. Confirm the situation with them.
