Sonbhadra News: Sonbhadra. In the district, a large illegal storage of fertilizer has been caught in the district amidst the furore. On the complaint received, the administrative team arrived for raids on a cold storage and was stunned to see the storage of 1228 sacks of DAP and urea in it. Along with sealing cold storage, action is going on from the administrative and police team regarding the matter. Amid complaints of farmers not getting adequate fertilizer, various types of discussions have also started regarding the storage caught. Where was this storage of manure brought from and who stored? The investigation continues about this.
-Illegal storage of DAP-Yuria of Navratna Company:
According to the government spokesperson, on the basis of the information received, the team under the presence of Deputy District Magistrate Obra Vivek Kumar Singh and AR Co-operative Devendra Kumar Singh, BDO cone Jitendra Nath Dubey was instructed to inspect the mother Vindhyavasini cold storage on behalf of the District Magistrate Obra Vivek Kumar Singh. Based on the information received, when the team arrived for necessary inspection of cold storage, he saw that 1150 sacks of urea and 78 bags of DAP of Navratna Company were lying in the warehouse connected with cold storage.
-There was a hoarding of stock reaching the farmers:
Officers who came to surprise inspections, after finding it a serious case, immediately prepared a report and informed the higher officials including the DM. In the action taken on the DM’s instructions, it was found that this stock of fertilizer was to reach the farmers, but it was hidden in the warehouse with the intention of profiteering.
The DM has also directed the District Agriculture Officer for legal action regarding the matter. Along with this, instructions have been given to prepare detailed reports for illegal storage found and regular inspections to stop illegal storage of fertilizer.
