iPhone 17 Pro Models: The design of the iPhone 17 lineup has already been revealed in the leaked render and the recently leaked dummy unit, which has revealed the AIR and the Pro model. Now, Tipster Majin Boo has shared some interesting information about the camera of the iPhone 17 Pro. In the next generation’s pro model, the iPhone 16 Pro model and an upgraded telephoto camera have already been reported. Another leakar has also revealed that the upcoming iPhone will come up with upgraded video recording capabilities.
iPhone 17 Pro camera upgrade information
According to Tipster (Via), the iPhone 17 Pro model will have a 48MP telephoto sensor. This is an upgrade compared to the 12MP telephoto unit on the previous Pro model that provides 5X optical zoom. Tipster stated that with a high-resolution sensor, the optical zoom would be a maximum of 3.5x which is less than the current telephoto camera offering. Capturing portrait photos from the existing lens is not possible until the subject is kept at a certain distance. The 3.5X zoom on the 48MP telephoto camera will reportly solve the problem as it will have an 85 mm focal length compared to 120 mm with 5X zoom. Majin Bu said that the iPhone 17 Pro model will still be able to support up to 7X digital zoom at 160 mm focal length. The new sensor is said to have the facility to shoot Landscape, better low light performance and landscape from portrait.
