Honor Magic V5: Honor Magic V5 is launching in China on July 2, the company’s new flagship book-style foldable. The company is describing Magic V5 as “the world’s thinnest” at 8.8mm and has the top-off-the-line Snapdragon SoC. These are clear upgrade compared to the previous model, Magic V3. The teaser does not explain the design or specification of the magic V5 in detail. Tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) has shared hands-on photos of the device and its main specifications.

As already mentioned, the Honor Magic V5 is 8.8mm thick when folded. At the same time, the magic V3 is 9.3mm thick, the Galaxy Z fold 6 is 12.1mm thick and the upcoming Galaxy Z fold 7 is considered to be 8.9mm thick. Magic V5 can be 217 grams of heavy. For reference, the company’s current flagship, Magic 7 Pro weighs 223 grams. The Galaxy S25 Ultra is 218 grams of heavy, the iPhone 16 Pro Max is 227 grams of heavy and the magic V3 is 226 grams heavy. We can see the phone in golden color with an embossed round rear camera island with three lenses (one of which is periscope).

Processor: Honor Magic V5’s 3Nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Chip (4.32GHz) is confirmed. It is a 4Nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 of the previous model (3.3GHz) more than 3 fast chip.
Battery: Thin and light foldable can have 66W wired and 50W wireless charging support with 6,100mAh battery. The previous model has a 5,150mAh cell whose charging speed is the same.
Camera: At the back, it can have a 50MP main camera, 50MP 13mm ultravide and 50MP 3x periscope zoom camera.
