IPhone call recording feature: TruColor will soon shut down its call recording facility on the iPhone. The feature was resumed on both Android and iOS about two years ago, before it was stopped due to Google’s strictness on the API created for accessibility facilities in voice calls. Moving forward, the Swedish app will focus on improving its main spam security services, including features such as live collar IDs and automatic spam call blocking for real-time collar identity. Let’s look at all its details.
Truecaller call recording for iPhone will turn off
From September 30, Truecaller will discontinue its call recording facility on iPhones, and no recordings already saved will be available now. According to Nakula Kabra, the product director for iOS in Truecaller, the decision is taken at a time when the platform is focusing on improving its main functionality of dealing with spam calls. On its support page, Truecaller offers three options to users: to download and store recording locally, share them through email or messaging app, or transfer the recording to iCloud instead of keeping the recording in Truecaller’s storage.
How to Save Call Record?
1. Open the Truecaller app and go to the record tab.
2. After this tap on the Settings icon.
3. Select “storage priority” and switch to iCloud storage.
4. If the iCloud option is not available, then go to your iPhone settings and turn it on. Choose your profile, then go to the iCloud> iCloud to go to and turn on the Truecaller option.
