Vodafone Idea 5G Services: Vodafone Idea finally started 5G service from Mumbai to India in March this year. It is also available in Patna and Chandigarh. Now, the telecom operator has announced that it will start 5G service in Delhi NCR from today. Last week, the company confirmed that it is running 5G tests in the city for selected users and we have gained 170 Mbps pace in our test.

VI says that by August this year, he will start high-speed 5G service in all 17 priority circles where he has achieved spectrum. Telco has partnered with Ericsson for the deployment of 5G infrastructure in the Delhi-NCR region. The company has also implemented the AI-operated Self-Organizing Network (NOS) technology to customize network performance. It also uses 5G non-standalone (NSA) architecture for a contract between 4G and 5G networks. The VI is providing unlimited data for users with 5G compatible devices on the plan starting from Rs 299. Customers can experience high-speed internet for streaming, gaming, fast download and real-time cloud access.

VI says that Bengaluru and Mysore will be the next cities to get 5G services. In other major markets, the process of rollout is also going on in the remaining circles. According to the company, 70 percent of the eligible users in Mumbai are experiencing VI’s 5G services. VI offers eight prepaid unlimited 5G plans starting from Rs 299 in Mumbai. Meanwhile, there are four unlimited 5G packs for postpaid customers.
