Moeen Ali Visa IPL 2022: There has been news of relief for Chennai Super Kings before the start of IPL 2022. All-rounder Moeen Ali has got a visa for India and will reach Mumbai on Thursday. The reason for not clearing the visa travel documents of this England player was not getting the visa. CSK fans will be very happy with this news but Moeen Ali will not be able to play the first match against KKR due to regular quarantine rules. The first match of IPL 2022 between defending champions Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders (CSK vs KKR) is to be played from March 26.
According to the quarantine rules, Moeen Ali will have to stay in isolation for at least three days, after that he can join the team. If Moin reaches Mumbai on 24th March, he will be in Quarantine till 26th March and he will join the team on 27th. In such a situation, he will be available for selection from the second match.

CSK CEO Kashi Vishwanathan on Wednesday made it clear that Moeen will miss the first match against KKR. He had said, “They thought that everything would be cleared on Monday but it did not happen. Now if this happens even today, then they will reach India on Thursday and it is mandatory to be quarantined for three days.”
Moeen Ali was one of the players retained by Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2021, taking 6 wickets with 357 wickets. He was retained by CSK for Rs 8 crore. Apart from this, Chennai retained Ravindra Jadeja, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Rituraj Gaikwad.
After Moeen Ali missed the first match, it will be a matter to be seen which player Dhoni gives place. Moin used to bat at number three, which used to be in place of Suresh Raina, once known as Mr. IPL. Raina is not a part of CSK this time.
