Bhagwant Mann, who has been declared as the CM face by the Aam Aadmi Party, has submitted a claim to form the government by meeting Governor Banwari Lal Purohit. Bhagwant Mann says that he will take oath as CM on March 16 at 12:30 pm. This swearing-in ceremony will not be held in Raj Bhavan but in Khatkar Kalan, the native village of martyr revolutionary Bhagat Singh. After meeting the governor, Bhagwant Mann said, ‘I have met the governor and submitted the letter of support of the MLAs to him and staked claim for government formation. He asked me where the swearing-in ceremony would take place, about which I have informed him.
Bhagwant Mann told that he has a big preparation for the swearing-in ceremony. Mann said that we have invited people from every household of Punjab for this program. He said that the people who reached the oath would pay tribute to Bhagat Singh and then the event would take place. Bhagwant Mann said that we will form a good cabinet. After this those historical decisions will be taken, on which no work has been done so far. So you have to wait. Earlier on Friday, Bhagwant Mann had reached Delhi and met Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal and took blessings by touching his feet.

Not only this, there was such a wave in favor of Aam Aadmi Party that former CM Captain Amarinder Singh, Parkash Singh Badal were badly defeated in their own stronghold.
