There is talk of election strategist Prashant Kishor joining hands with Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. CM Rao said on Monday that efforts are on to fill the void in national politics. Rao is trying to bring several political parties together against the Bharatiya Janata Party. He said election strategist Prashant Kishor is working with him to bring about ‘change’ in the entire country. Both are also working together in Telangana.
KCR rubbished reports of a Rs 300 crore deal with PK. He said, “Prashant Kishor is my best friend for the last 7-8 years. He has never worked for money. He is not a paid worker. I am sorry you do not understand his commitment to the country. PK What’s wrong with working with me? Why are people looking at him as a bomb?”
Preparations to form a front against BJP before 2024 general elections
PK reportedly met KCR last month at a farmhouse outside Hyderabad. In fact, before the 2024 general elections of the Chief Minister of Telangana, they are busy forming a front against the BJP. KCR’s attacks on PM Modi and BJP have increased in the last few months. In February, when PM Modi went to Hyderabad to release the statue of Sant Ramanujacharya, Rao did not meet him citing health reasons.

According to the report, Prashant Kishor’s political advisory team I-PAC has started the ground work for KCR for the assembly elections to be held in December next year. An agreement has also been signed regarding this, although its details have not been revealed yet.
