This park will be built on about 1000 acres of land. This project, which will be set up between Lucknow- Hardoi, will provide all the work and facilities related to the textile industry at one place. Yogi Sarkar 2.0 has recently sent a proposal related to this to the Central Government. Seven such mega parks are to be set up across the country under the PM Mitra scheme. The Modi government has announced this scheme only recently. Under this scheme, the central government will provide financial assistance to the state government to develop this park. Through this, the work of spinning, weaving, dyeing and printing to garment manufacturing will be done at one place. From here its marketing and marketing will be arranged. Having all the facilities at one place will save on logistics cost. Along with this there will be facilities for export.

Already exercise of seven mega textile parks
In UP, the exercise of setting up textile parks is already underway in seven divisional headquarters. Under this scheme of the UP government, investors associated with the textile industry will set up their factories in it. The state government will give many concessions and facilities like stamp duty, electricity tax, easy loan etc. to these investors. These parks are to be built in Meerut, Agra, Jhansi, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Lucknow and Kanpur.

Investors’ Summit was held in UP in 2018. Since then 15 units of the textile have been installed in three years. 756.91 crores were invested through these and about 4800 got employment.
Apart from this, work is going on in full swing on 60 investment projects. An investment of Rs 8000 crore is to be made in this. Through this, 524087 people are expected to get employment.
