Keeping an eye on the situation, the administration has declared Badal village of Rajouri district as a containment zone. Under the orders of Additional District Officer Rajeev Kumar Khajuria, this village has been divided into three containment zones.
Those people have been kept in the first containment zone where deaths have occurred. Along with this, those houses have also been sealed. All movement and movement in these areas has been banned.
In the second zone, those families who came in contact with the affected people have been kept. These people are currently kept under observation in the Medical College, while the entire village has been declared a containment zone under the third zone.
The administration has also ordered that the affected families and their contacts will use only food and water provided by the administration and will not eat any other food items available in homes.
Food items are being seized from these affected houses for testing. There are still many people hospitalized, and there have been deaths.
