Jaipur. Former Rajasthan Chief Minister and Congress leader Ashok Gehlot has put the BJP government in the dock on the deteriorating health services of the state. He said that our government had set an example in Kovid management, but the present government put important public health related schemes in cold storage.
Gehlot said that during the Kovid epidemic during his tenure, there was a conversation with the world veteran doctors and experts. Those experts had advised to emphasize post covid research, after which the 2023 budget was announced to open the ‘Center for Post Covid Rehabilitation’ in the RUHS (Rajasthan University of Health Sciences). However, the BJP government canceled it without any reason as soon as he came to power.
Government’s negligence fatal:
Gehlot warned that if this rehabilitation center opens, there would have been research on the growing heart diseases after Kovid. He said, “Today we are seeing that heart attack cases are increasing rapidly among the youth. This is not a minor problem. It is very important to study post covid competitions, but the government is not taking any steps in this direction.” He surrounded both the central and the state government and said that if intensive research is not conducted on this subject as soon as possible, then heart diseases can take the form of an epidemic in the coming time.
The government betrayed the public:
The former Chief Minister took a dig at the BJP government and said, “Our government had done historical work in the field of health. The public was given relief from many schemes like Chiranjeevi Yojana, Free Drug Scheme, Free Investigation Scheme. But now BJP The priority of the government is only to save power, not the general public. ”
Gehlot accused the BJP government of playing with the health of the people and said that if the government did not give up the mentality to shut down our announced schemes, the public would give a befitting reply to it. He demanded that the post Covid Research Center be installed immediately and the increasing heart attack cases should be investigated in depth.
