At the same time, Aurangzeb’s dispute is now echoing in the Lok Sabha. Shiv Sena party MP Naresh Mhaske has demanded in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday that the tomb of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb in Khuldabad, Maharashtra, Maharashtra, be destroyed.

During the Zero Hour of the Lok Sabha, King of Shiv Sena said that 25 % of the 3,691 monuments and tombs protected by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) are of Mughal and British officials. All of them worked against the culture and traditions of India. Shiv Sena MP Naresh Mhske said that Aurangzeb killed Chhatrapati Sambhaji and looted Hindu temples.

Shiv Sena MP Naresh Mhske said in the Lok Sabha that Aurangzeb, who also killed the ninth and tenth Sikh gurus, is in Khuldabad, Maharashtra, who has been protected by ASI. The MP said- “What is the need to preserve the grave of a cruel person like Aurangzeb? The monuments of all the people working against Aurangzeb and India should be destroyed.
What did CM Fadnavis say?
Earlier, Udayanraje Bhosle, a descendant of BJP MP and Maratha Raja Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj from Satara seat in Maharashtra, demanded the removal of Aurangzeb’s tomb located in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district. Talking about this, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said- “We all want, but you have to do it under the purview of law, because it is a protected place. The site was given a few years ago under the patronage of ASI during Congress rule.” (Input: Language)
