Gaya. Three youths died in an accident on Friday in Wazirganj police station area of Gaya district of Bihar. All these youths had descended into a well to clean it. All three youths died due to suffocation.
According to the police, in Chaksev village of Wazirganj police station area, first a young man went down into the well to clean it. After some time, when he started suffocating, another young man went down into the well to rescue him. When the second youth also started having difficulty in breathing, then the third youth also jumped into the well.
After this, the villagers informed the police about the matter. The police immediately reached the spot. With the help of the villagers, all three youths were taken out from inside the well. After this, all three were immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment, where the doctors declared them dead.
Wazirganj police station in-charge Venkateshwar said that all the deceased are residents of Chaksew village, who have been identified as Lalan Kumar, Subhash Kumar and Chintu Tiwari. Police took possession of all three bodies and sent them for post-mortem. There is mourning in the village since the incident.
According to locals, the well is very deep and there was less water in it. Police are investigating the matter.
