Rohtak. The Rohtak team of the Anti -Corruption Bureau (ACB) took a major action on Monday and arrested the accused Arun Malik, Deed Writer (Wasika Navis) red -handed taking a bribe of Rs 15,000. In this case, the accused number 8, Section 7 A.P.C. A case has been registered under the Act.
The complainant said in his complaint to the ACB that he had bought half a bigha (476 yards) land in his mother’s name, for which he had been circling Tehsil Sampala for four days. Government employees did not help by avoiding him. He later met deed writer Arun Malik, who claimed to have registered in an hour, but sought a bribe of Rs 50,000 instead. When the complainant said that the amount was high, the accused said that out of this, 40,000 rupees would have to be paid to the officers. Finally, the deal was finalized for Rs 20,000 and the computer operator had to pay a separate Rs 5,000.
On March 19, the accused got the land registered. On the same day, the complainant transferred Rs 10,000 online from Google-Pay, but the accused kept the registry with him and started demanding Rs 15,000.
Following the complaint, the ACB team traped on March 24 and caught the accused Arun Malik red -handed taking bribe from Sampla’s Giji flyover. This action was taken in the presence of witnesses with complete transparency, in which Section 105 of the Indian Civil Protection Code 2023 was followed.
