New Delhi. Delhi Chief Minister Atishi has accepted the resignation of Kailash Gehlot. Kailash Gehlot had resigned from the cabinet on Sunday morning, he had sent his resignation to the Chief Minister.
When Kailash Gehlot, who was a minister in the Delhi government, left the Aam Aadmi Party, the party said that he was under pressure for the last several months. Aam Aadmi Party said that Kailash Gehlot was called for questioning by ED several times. He was raided by ED, he had no option and he had to go to Bharatiya Janata Party.
Aam Aadmi Party said that one thing has become clear from this that Bharatiya Janata Party has lost the Delhi elections. Today he has no issues left. BJP has no such work which they can tell the public. They are contesting elections within Delhi through ED, CBI and through Income Tax and we are seeking votes in the name of working politics of Delhi.
Kailash Gehlot has called the Chief Minister’s residence used by Kejriwal as ‘Sheeshmahal’. Gehlot has also raised questions on the functioning of the Delhi government. He expressed doubt that Delhi will not be able to develop due to this attitude of Delhi Government. Whereas Arvind Kejriwal did not make any direct comment on the verbal attack on him by Kailash Gehlot and his resignation. However, when asked about Kailash Gehlot, Arvind Kejriwal said, “There are two governments in Delhi, one central government and one state government of Delhi. Both the governments have powers and resources in relation to Delhi. There is a lot of money. Delhi government is a small government, half or a quarter of it has done so much work for the Purvanchal society.
Kejriwal said, I want to ask BJP what they have done. I challenge BJP to tell what they have done for the people of Purvanchal in Delhi. He had promised to get the registration done, was the registration done in the raw colonies? He lied, BJP should give one task to the people of Purvanchal. BJP has no intention of working, why should the people of Purvanchal vote for them.”
