Ambala. Haryana Energy, Transport and Labor Minister Anil Vij said that the citizens of Ambala will soon get the gift of an airport. It will take only one month to implement this project. Machines have been ordered to operate this project and after the arrival of the machines, this project will be fully operational for the general public. Vij was addressing the people present at a program organized by Municipal Council Ambala Cantonment on Ambala-Jagadhri Road in Ambala today. The important aspect is that the citizens of Ambala Cantonment have given immense support in these assembly elections. Therefore, fulfilling its duty, the state’s first escalator-equipped foot over bridge has been given to the local citizens as a first gift and in the coming 5 years, the government will continuously give gifts to the citizens of Ambala Cantonment in the form of small and big projects.
Earlier, Energy Minister Anil Vij inaugurated the escalator-equipped foot over bridge project built at a cost of about Rs 2 crore. He said that this project will benefit thousands of patients and common citizens coming to Civil Hospital Ambala Cantonment every day. The maintenance of this project will be done by Municipal Council Ambala Cantonment. In this project, 4 heavy duty escalators have been installed for safety reasons. Each escalator has the capacity to transport more than 2 thousand persons per hour.
He said that the Foot Over Bridge Project with Escalator is a return to the immense support that the citizens of Ambala Cantonment have given during the Assembly elections, after having tasted the drums and sweets in the streets and after the unprecedented success after the electoral turmoil. Are being given as gifts.
On this occasion, Municipal Corporation Commissioner RK Singh, ADC Aparajita, SDM Satindra Siwach, Municipal Magistrate Pooja Kumari, NHAI officer Aashim Bansal, CMO Rakesh Sahal, BJP leaders Sanjeev Soni, Balkesh Vats, Divisional Head Rajeev Dimple, Bijendra Chauhan, Kiranpal Chauhan, BS Bindra, Sudarshan Singh, Jasbir Singh Jassi, Pushpa Vaish, Ajay Baweja, Virendra Singh, Shyamsunder Arora, Sahil Agarwal, Bhaula Vij, Ashish Agarwal, Parvesh Sharma, Anil Kaushal along with other BJP officials and officers were present.
