The preparations for the Maharashtra assembly elections have intensified. Along with BJP-Shiv Sena-NCP, Mahavikas Aghadi is also busy with the preparations. There are speculations about who will be the Chief Minister. Meanwhile, when Uddhav Thackeray was asked if he would like to become CM again? The answer he gave can increase the tension of Congress-NCP. On the other hand, Ajit Pawar has also thrown the dice. Ajit Dada presented his claim in front of Shinde-Fadnavis.
Elections are to be held in Maharashtra this year. Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena, Sharad Pawar’s NCP and Congress are preparing to contest the elections together. Seat sharing is being discussed. Calculations are being made. But no one is talking about who will be the CM after winning. On the other hand, Uddhav Thackeray is in Delhi these days to discuss the seats. He met Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal along with many leaders of India Alliance. He said that the people of Maharashtra want change. Rahul Gandhi said that the MVA will fight the assembly elections with unity and will win. According to sources, the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) will finalize the seat sharing for the Maharashtra Assembly elections by next month and the basis for selection of candidates will not be the previous electoral performance, but the possibility of victory.
Uddhav’s answer on becoming CM
When Uddhav Thackeray was asked if he would like to become the Chief Minister of Maharashtra again, Uddhav Thackeray said, if my allies feel that I have done good work, then ask them if they want to see me as CM. Ultimately, the people will decide. Thackeray said, I did not dream of becoming the Chief Minister, nor did I want to become one. But I am also not one of those who run away from responsibility. I took responsibility and tried to do better work according to my ability.
What did Ajit Pawar finally say?
On the other hand, NCP President Ajit Pawar has openly expressed his desire to become CM. On the occasion of the release of Professor Dr. Pradeep Dhawal’s book ‘Yodha Karmayogi Eknath Sambhaji Shinde’, he expressed his heart in front of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Ajit Dada said, a lot has happened in this historical city Thane. Eknathrao Shinde traveled from a common citizen to the Chief Minister. Devendra Fadnavis’ tenure started in 99. Eknath Shinde’s career started in 2004. I have remained where I was. I told Devendra Fadnavis that if he had told me that I want to become the Chief Minister, I would have brought the entire party instead of Shinde. Well, now the time has passed. This statement of Ajit Pawar is being seen as his claim to the post of CM.
