Bharatpur. A major accident was averted on Sunday morning in Kotwali police station area of Bharatpur. The diesel tank of a trailer broke after hitting the breaker. Due to which diesel started leaking from the tank. During this time, vehicles kept passing around the trailer. The driver of the trailer took the trailer with the broken tank from the crematorium in Nai Mandi to Rico Industries area. During this time diesel kept dripping from the trailer. A small spark could have caused a major accident.
Driver Rajkumar resident Jaghina told that Praveen Bansal’s tin barrel making factory is located in Rico Industries area. Today Rajkumar was taking tin barrels loaded in a trailer from the factory to Morena. As soon as he reached the crematorium located in Nai Mandi, he saw a breaker about 3 feet high. While crossing it, the trailer tank hit the breaker. Due to which diesel started leaking from the tank.
After which Rajkumar called his boss Praveen Bansal. Then Praveen Bansal asked the driver to take the trailer from there to somewhere else. After which driver Rajkumar backed the trailer and took it to Bhawanpura village, about 5 kilometers away from Rico Industries area, and parked the trailer there. Rajkumar told that the tank of the trailer was 360 litres. Due to which all the diesel got spilled.
