Mumbai Jagat Guru Swami Rambhadracharya Maharaj, while talking to on Sunday, expressed his views on many important issues. He reacted to the ongoing dispute in Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh, atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh and Mohan Bhagwat’s recent statement.
Expressing his concern over the Sambhal controversy, Swami Rambhadracharya Maharaj said that whatever is happening in Sambhal is bad. However, he also said that a positive aspect in this matter is that evidence of the existence of a temple has been found there. He further said that we will take it forward, whether it is through vote, through court, or with the help of the public. His struggle on the temple issue will continue and he will use all possible means for this.
When asked about the atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh, he said that the interim government of Bangladesh is committing atrocities on Hindus. Describing the interim Prime Minister of Bangladesh as ‘evil’, he said that wait, everyone will be destroyed. Don’t worry. There is a need for the international community to take serious steps regarding the atrocities against Hindus in Bangladesh. We have said a lot to the government, but this problem is a matter of concern not only for the Indian government but for the entire world.
Swami Rambhadracharya Maharaj expressed disagreement with the recent statement of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat. Mohan Bhagwat had said that some people are trying to become leaders of Hindus, on this Swami Rambhadracharya said that I do not agree at all with the statement of Mohan Bhagwat ji. Mohan Bhagwat has been a disciplinarian, but his views do not agree with him in this matter.
Swami Rambhadracharya said about the upcoming Mahakumbh Mela that Mahakumbh is a wonderful event in which lakhs of people will participate. Everyone should come to this fair and express their faith and dedication towards religion. I will pray to God that the integrity of India remains intact and that all people participate in this event with peace, harmony and brotherhood.
