Mumbai, 16 February (IANS). A cycling program was organized on Sunday in Mumbai, Maharashtra under the Fit India Movement. More than 500 people participated in the program. Union Minister Mansukh Mandavia also gave the mantra of good health. Talking to IANS, he described it as part of the war being fought against obesity.
He said, “Prime Minister Modi has given the slogan of ‘Fit India’ and has currently expressed concern about the growing obesity (obesity) in the country. Can. When the citizens of the country are fit, the society will be healthy and a healthy society can build a rich nation. “
He further said, “To get steps with PM Modi’s dream of developed India, to improve his health and awaken against obesity, the Ministry of Sports, Government of India, under the ‘Fit India Movement’ every Sunday, all over the country Cycling has been organized. Today I got an opportunity to do cycling with the youth of Mumbai.
Let us know that Fit India Cycling is an important initiative under the Fit India Movement, which the Government of India has started with the aim of motivating people to adopt healthy lifestyle and to include physical activities in their daily lives. This campaign not only promotes physical fitness, but also collectively increases health awareness.
Through Fit India Cycling, the government has promoted the development of cycling clubs, cycling tracks across the country, and group cycling events on weekends or special days. This initiative is especially made keeping in mind those who do less physical activity in their everyday life or whose jobs are sitting. Cycling is not only a good exercise, but it is also environmentally friendly, which helps reduce pollution.
