Uttar Pradesh News Desk Crime Branch has exposed an international gang that stole expensive equipment from mobile towers and sent it to China. Also, five accused including the kingpin’s brother have been arrested. According to the police, the kingpin is sitting in Hong Kong. Red corner notice will be issued for his arrest.
ADCP Crime Sachchidanand said that Javed Meerapuria, with a reward of Rs 1 lakh, and Naeem, with a reward of Rs 50,000, along with 39 accused included in their gang, have been sent to jail. The Crime Branch team has arrested five accused from Wave City police station area last night.
They have been identified as Shahrukh Malik, resident of Krishna Vihar, Delhi, Wasim Malik, resident of Summer Garden Colony, Lisadi Gate, Meerut, Anas Khan, resident of Kanti Nagar, Police Station Krishna Nagar, Delhi, Sahil Malik, resident of Aligarh and Qayyum Ansari, resident of Naulakha, Farrukhabad. Sahil and Qayyum were currently living in Kanister Wali Gali in Hindon Vihar.
Shahrukh took command: According to ADCP Crime, BA pass Shahrukh Malik used to work as a junk dealer with his father. His brother Naeem Malik came in contact with Inami Javed Meerapuria and got involved in the business of stealing equipment from mobile towers. Seeing huge profits, Naeem had formed his own gang. His gang included Shahrukh, Faim Malik, Wasim Malik, Anwar Malik, Anas, Sahil Malik, Qayyum, Goldie alias Farhan, Qasim, Rahul Kumar, Zakir, Javed, Haji Javed, Khalid alias Mulla, and Irshad. After Naeem was caught eight months ago, Shahrukh took command of the gang. Shahrukh’s cousin Faim was operating the gang from Hong Kong. He not only buys and sells stolen goods, but also supplies the said equipment to other parts of China.
